First Aid/First Responder Training
Title: First Aid At Work (FAAW)/First Responder Course
Duration: 4 days
This course is delivered over four consecutive days and is designed to give candidates the necessary knowledge and skills to sustain life in the event of suffering an injury or responding to the injuries of another person in any environment. The course is split into 2 parts, part 1 being knowledge and practical based training and part 2 consisting of practical scenarios and written assessments. After successfully completing the final assessment and written examination candidates receive a HSE approved certificate.
This course is legally compliant with the current Health and Safety (first aid) Regulations 1981.
Upon successful completion of this four day course, first aiders receive certification to allow them to practice for three years after which a re-qualification course will become necessary.
