Title: Advanced Aviation Security
Duration: 5 days
The Advanced Aviation Security is a highly effective 5 day training course designed for airline security personnel, trainers, managers and aircrew. By addressing the recent issues raised by the current security climate and heightened threat levels, motivations and tactics which have been used we aim to empower candidates to understand and apply the correct precautions to reduce the threat of interference to aviation, and in the event of a breach of aircraft security know the procedures that should be adopted to achieve an optimum safe outcome.
Candidates will learn the precautions which should be applied to counter the risk of hijack, and the procedures which should be adopted by personnel in the event of an aircraft take-over and hostage situation. The training will increase candidate understanding of the hijacker's motivations and characteristics there by developing an awareness of reactions to minimize the risk of violence, and contribute to the safety of those on board.
This is a five day course suitable for all personnel involved in airline security. The course exceeds the standard aircrew training requirements of UK Dept. of Transport (DFT), UK National Aviation Security Programme (NASP), The Joint Aviation Requirement - Operator's licence (JAR - OP's) and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), which oversees and regulates all aspects of aviation in the United Kingdom.
